Vaughan Cheese was founded by Megan & Tyler, two hospitality professionals who are proud of the journey that brought them here- and grateful to the many people who taught them along the way. 

They met at the Culinary Institute of America, where they both found their passion for hospitality, service, and creating meaningful experiences around food and drink. Megan went on to spend twelve years at Eleven Madison Park in New York City, where she developed a deep passion for artisan cheese. Tyler built his career in wine, cocktails, and hospitality working with passionate teams at Union Square Hospitality Group, Blue Bill, and Oceana.

While living in new York City, they began curating focused cheese tastings for enthusiastic diners, with a goal of introducing more people to the incredible cheeses being made by American cheesemakers. That passion eventually became Vaughan Cheese. 

Today, they work directly with small family farms and artisan cheesemakers as well as local growers, getting to know the people behind the cheeses- their stories, their families, their animals, and the traditions and creativity that make each cheese unique.
