Q: When will my order be delivered?
A: Check out our Shipping information for everything you need to know about when your box will arrive. We ship UPS 2 day air on Mondays & Tuesdays and do porch drop offs to Anne Arundel, Calvert, and Prince George's Counties in Maryland.
Q: Do you sell gift cards?
A: We sure do! You can purchase a digital gift certificate for online shopping through our website here or a gift card for Vaughan Cheese Counter & Bar by visiting us in our retail shop in North Beach or by calling us at 410.474.9050. Note that digital gift certificates can only be redeemed for online shopping while Counter & Bar gift cards can only be redeemed in our physical shop.
Q: Can I add a gift message to my online order?
A: Absolutely! When you place your order, you’ll be prompted if your order is for you or as a gift. You can add any custom notes here. If you’ve already checked out, no worries. Email us at cheese@vaughancheese.com with your order number and we will reply with confirmation of the gift message. You can also add birthday gift packaging to your order here.
Q: How should my cheese look when it arrives?
A: Cheese is a living and breathing thing and some cheeses are very stinky. With that in mind, don’t be worried about a funky box. We lovingly and carefully pack your cheese with ice packs and cushioning to make sure that it arrives perfectly. The ice will have melted a bit in transport, that that’s completely normal. The cheeses should feel cool to the touch when you unpack them.
Q: What if I’m worried about how my cheese arrived?
A: It’s very important to us that everyone who eats our cheeses is very happy and that the cheeses showcase themselves just the way the cheesemakers intended. If you have any concerns at all, please let us know! You can email us at cheese@vaughancheese.com or call us at 410.474.9050. We will get back to you within 24 hours and promise to make it right.
Q: Do you teach classes?
A: Absolutely! We teach both in-person and virtual classes for both Cheese 101 as well as Cheese & Wine Pairing. While we often have classes actively scheduling here, you can also arrange a private class for a group of at least 6 people by emailing Megan Vaughan at megan@vaughancheese.com.
